First, What Is My Story?

Hi there! Erica here.

For what felt like forever, I’d been slaving around the clock on an endless corporate hamster wheel, trying to stay afloat while I made my boss enough money to retire early.

I thought I did everything right. Go to school, get the degree, land the job… I even had a skyline office view that came with my own Peloton bike – the whole nine.

So I followed the process and thought I’d be happy because, well, this was the goal right?

But I was miserable.

Truth is, I wanted more than the idealistic version of success I’d been fed – to travel more, worry less, and not have to sacrifice my time for money day after day.

I was convinced it was a long shot…

Until I stumbled across the key to making consistent income online (by helping others cash in, too!) just a few years back.

How?

Sending paying customers to small businesses who need the traffic.

All by using a formula that blows my college days out of the water!

And I wish I’d have learned it sooner (it would’ve saved me a lot in student loans!)

IMPORTANT: NOT AN AFFILIATE image

This one-page site is just one example of how it’s done.

Mind you, I haven’t updated it since it launched, and it still brings in an extra 1.5k a month like clockwork.

When you do the math, that’s an easy 18k yearly raise – especially given the fact you can build these sites in less than a day.

It’s why I recommend local lead generation as my top business model for recurring, semi-passive income. If you want to see for yourself just how it works, click here.

In reality, it’s common for course reviewers to spin their own assumptions of the programs they review since they don’t actually have firsthand experience with them.

Their goal isn’t to educate. It’s to simply (and quickly) get you to click on their link and buy from the person they’re reviewing!

I can guarantee they have absolutely no idea of what it’s actually like to run the type of business these gurus are teaching you to do.

That being said, I’m not affiliated with this program in any way.

As always, this review is just my honest, unbiased opinion based on my personal experience with [business model].

With that said, let’s begin, shall we?

Let’s talk about what I think is the best business model of 2026: Digital Leasing!

It doesn’t matter whether you’re starting out or trying something new.

As long-time readers of The Inbetween know, I’ve tried (and failed) many online business models, but Digital Leasing is hands down my top choice.

And since I’ve been doing this for years (from just about everywhere), I thought I’d break it down.

What Exactly Is A Digital Leasing Biz, You Might Ask?

It’s really quite simple.

You can think of it as the conventional real estate model where you create a rental property, only this time, it’s a website instead of a physical property.

Next, you find a local business owner to be the tenant, and they pay you a monthly rent for sending them leads and potential buyers.

With Digital Leasing, you don’t have to worry about any operational work. All you have to do is connect the business owner with the person looking for their services and receive a small commission in return.

It’s what I call working smarter, not harder.

Digital Rental Properties: Why Do Small Biz Owners Need Them?

For starters, most business owners are excellent at what they do but struggle with effectively marketing themselves. Plus, with their existing workload, they don’t have time to learn digital marketing.

But that’s the problem.

The internet has become crucial for business growth, taking over traditional advertising outlets like newspapers and magazines.

Basically, for businesses to make it in this modern age, they need to have a solid digital marketing strategy. If they fail to do so, their business will eventually crumble.

Home Advisor: A Leading Digital Renter

In order to achieve the top position in national search rankings for home services, Home Advisor has invested a great deal of money into building brand recognition.

A little breakdown:

When a lead fills out a form on Home Advisor’s site or clicks on one of their ads, the information is then shared with local businesses in exchange for a fee.

The downside is that Home Advisor sells the same leads to 5 different businesses, causing fierce competition. It’s a risky approach, but most business owners think they have no choice.

What Makes Being A Digital Renter So Profitable?

There are a lot of things businesses have to pay for, like employees, rental costs, insurance, taxes, and liabilities… you get the picture.

On the other hand, as a digital renter, expenses are nearly non-existent. Only a small fee is required to cover the cost of a domain name and hosting your website, nothing more.

Plus, the profit margins are insane, more than 90%.

And most importantly, leads can be generated for virtually any industry. It’s simple logic; all businesses require is customers to thrive!

Wondering How Digital Renters Get Their Leads?

Being a digital renter means placing yourself where potential customers are searching for your services: Google, Facebook, YouTube, and Instagram, for example.

Research has shown that over 60% of people searching to make a purchase click on related ads!

For instance, if someone has a leaky faucet in their kitchen, they’ll instinctively turn to Google and search for nearby plumbers – and you can bet they’ll click the first ad offering prompt service.

So the real power of being a digital renter is that you own that ad they clicked on.

Lead Quality Is Key

It’s crucial to understand that not all leads are created equal, and location plays a vital role!

Similar to physical Real Estate, it’s essential to position ads in the right place.

For instance, consider what people are more likely to click on when they search for “fence repair Denver CO”: an ad that says “fence Repair Company in Denver CO,” or an ad that says “fence Replacement Specialists in CO”?

It’s simple: Your clients will gladly pay more for your leads if you target them with specific search terms.

Using SEO to Generate Leads

Taking the right approach to SEO can be really effective, but it can also be time-consuming and costly (even the fastest hosting can affect the rankings of your website).

Not that I’m suggesting you ditch SEO altogether, but I prefer immediate and sustainable results over having to rely on luck alone.

See, Google tweaks its Search Engine algorithm constantly, sometimes even monthly…

The problem is that most SEO agencies ignore Google’s guidelines, which always backfire on them.

Several multimillion-dollar SEO giants have crumbled because of this – or because of a single update.

How Google Ads Work

When I started generating leads via Google & Facebook, it took me a while to learn how to use them effectively.

Nevertheless, my financial and personal freedom skyrocketed once I finally figured out what I was doing.

As a matter of fact, I have been making $1,500 a month off this concrete site, and I haven’t touched it since its launch!

One-Page Website Concrete Lead Gen

It’s not very expensive for me to maintain the site, either. About $15/year for a domain name and hosting, plus a few dollars for a tracking number which I use to track traffic to the site.

These days, I focus on “niches” such as concrete. So if I land another concrete client in a new city, I simply copy-and-paste the original page and make some changes accordingly, which takes less than 10 minutes.

Once it’s set up, I check it almost monthly for updates.

Tell me, where else can you earn over 90% margins with little to no effort on your part?

Digital Leasing Digitizes The World’s Oldest Wealth Builder

Let’s face it, some of the wealthiest people in history have made their fortunes in real estate. It’s the same concept as real estate, but for the digital world – hence Digital Leasing.

You can think of these websites as rental homes or apartments. It’s like having a prime apartment in an upscale neighborhood when you land the top ad spot.

And considering the value of that position, people are willing to dish more money to rent it.

Clearly, Digital Rental Properties provide a steady, repeatable source of revenue, which is invaluable!

Digital Real Estate Business Templates

This business model has completely changed my life, kinda like Airbnb has revolutionized the home rental industry.

Just as Airbnb facilitates connections between buyers and sellers, we have full autonomy over whom we choose to work with.

I don’t even have to worry if a tenant stops paying. I can just redirect the calls to their competitors!

You might say, “Hey, I used to partner with John The Plumber, but he couldn’t keep paying me. Would you take over these jobs instead?”

You can almost guarantee they won’t decline your leads.

Here’s How It Works:

Step 1: Select Your Focus and Target City

Choose a niche and a city to focus on. Let’s say you’re interested in offering concrete repair services in the Colorado Springs area.

The city has a population of nearly 500,000, so you can easily find homeowners who have the budget to spend on home repairs.

It’s worth mentioning that there are tools you can use to help you determine how many people in Colorado Springs are searching for concrete repair services each month.

Let’s say there are 250 monthly searches in this city alone, which translates to almost 3,000 potential customers each year.

The average cost of a concrete repair job is $550, which means you can potentially earn $13,750 from just 25 customers (assuming only 10% of these people move forward!)

Could you imagine how many business owners would pay you $2,000 a month to earn almost $14k in return? What’s more, two of those concrete repair jobs you land for your client could include an upgraded driveway or patio, which easily means an extra $6k.

In other words, it’s now $20k for every $2k they pay you.

*Step 1 summary (find a city, pick a niche, determine value)*

Step 2: Find a Customer-Hungry Business

Now that you know the numbers, the next step is to find a business owner willing to pay for customers.

Let’s check.

Groupon

Groupon

HomeAdvisor

HomeAdvisor

Thumbtack

Thumbtack

Popular websites like Groupon, HomeAdvisor, and Thumbtack charge high fees for leads, and customers often end up receiving numerous calls from different businesses.

This can result in disappointment for the customer and lost money for the business owner.

And the most frustrating part? Business owners know they’re getting screwed out of money when they work with these home service apps.

However, Digital Leasing offers a better alternative that benefits both sides! You just have to convince these business owners of the silver lining.

*Step 2 summary (find someone paying for leads, show them a better way to do it)*

Step 3: Create a Simple 1-Page Site

At this point, you have established a niche, a city, and a prospective client.

Next, create a super simple 1-page website that requires little to no design skills, and contains your contact information and the services you offer.

Create a Simple 1-Page Site

You can host it on platforms like Bluehost for convenience.

Once you have a business owner on board, create a Google Ads campaign to target customers who are already searching for your services.

All you need is one page with some basic information and a phone number.

You can create this website in less than an hour, potentially earning you $18,000 per year (or $1,500/mo), with just 12 hours of maintenance time.

Simple 1-Page Site Computation

The insane part?

This website is just one example of the countless sites you can build using this process!

*Step 3 summary (build a 1-page site, publish it ASAP)*

Step 4: Reach Out to Customers

Once your site is up and running, it’s time to start delivering results.

Create a Google Ads campaign to target customers who are already searching for the services you offer.

This way, you can be sure that the people who call are genuinely interested in your services, and the business owner is more likely to close the deal.

The ads look like this:

Here, they appear above the organic Google results (my ad is at the top, I might add).

Let’s say the ads cost $30 for each call to the business owner, meaning you can get them 17 new customers for $500.

The best part is that the business owner is the one who typically pays for the ad spend, so you can be sure that $1,500 will be 100% profit.

*Step 4 summary (set up a quick Google ad, get calls from customers)*

Step 5: Make Money!

At this point, you have delivered results and provided more value than other lead generation platforms.

Your business owner clients will, without a doubt, prefer continuing to work with you over greedy home service apps, and you’ll start earning recurring income before you know it.

And if you find yourself bringing in more customers than your clients can handle, you can reach out to their competitors and repeat the process from the start!

*Step 5 summary (collect your profit)*

Step 6 (Optional): Rinse and Repeat

This is a repeatable process that you can apply to hundreds of different niches.

If you can do it once, there’s no reason why you can’t do it 100 more times!

With the right hosting platform and tools, this process is quick and painless.

*Step 6 summary (rinse and repeat)*

What Makes Digital Leasing Different?

In the same way that physical property can create generational wealth, Digital Leasing can provide semi-passive income but without the downsides of owning physical assets.

Plus, you own and control your digital properties completely, which means there’s no income ceiling.

Instead of spending tens of thousands of dollars upfront, each “Digital Rental Property” can be built for less than $100, which makes it easy to scale up quickly. You can create 10 Digital Rental Properties in a week, compared to the decades it would take to purchase the same number of physical houses.

The possibility of starting your week with zero passive income and ending with the potential to earn $20k a month by owning Digital Rental Properties is insane. With Digital Leasing, you have more control and flexibility than with traditional real estate. There are no renovations, evictions, or damage to deal with if a “Digital Tenant” stops paying or leaves.

No “what-ifs.”

You own the website:

You Own The Website

And phone number:

You Own This Phone Number

Which means you’re in complete control. Calls get forwarded to your tenant, but you can cut them off in two seconds if they stop paying. Finding another business owner to pay you the same or more money takes less than an hour and requires no showings, rental applications, or lawyers. The money comes in as fast as you can click a button and make a phone call.

This Is How I Secured My First $1,500/mo Digital Leasing Tenant

If I’m being honest, I wasn’t exactly what you would call a “tech geek” when I started this online money-making journey. In fact, my computer skills were practically nonexistent.

But thanks to Josh’s Digital Leasing program, I built this simple yet effective website that continues to generate a steady stream of income.

This Is How I Secured My First 1,500 Monthly Digital Rental

Maybe you’re thinking, “nope, not me.”

But you can also achieve the same success, no matter your age. In fact, one of our group’s elderly members retired comfortably, earning more money than they ever did in their day jobs!

So think again!

Building my own website was a breeze.

It took only an hour to replicate an existing site and about two hours to launch an ad campaign. Since then, I haven’t had to lift a finger, yet the website continues to generate $1,500 per month. Yes, you read that right!

You see, every phone call and lead generated is closely monitored, logged, and then reported to my clients, ensuring transparency and accountability. They’re happy to pay for my services when they see how my leads are bringing in 10-20k extra per month.

You can’t just rely on just one client to succeed, though. Concentrate instead on snagging small chunks from different niches and cities. Think about it: your earning potential is limitless when you have an endless number of prospective clients looking for your leads.

I mean, why worry about losing your clients when you can consistently provide them with high-quality work every month?

With some clients paying a flat rate, others paying per lead, and some even offering a percentage, the possibilities are endless. You might earn a six-figure income overnight if you get a client who does million-dollar jobs!

I’ve experimented with various “make money online” business models, and while some of them worked, the problem was always the same: I was sacrificing too much time for too little money. It was like creating another full-time job for myself.

Digital Leasing, on the other hand, provides me with something that other online businesses can’t: complete freedom, unlimited earning potential, and full control over my schedule.

Contrary to what you’ve been told, there’s no need to be tied to the clock in order to generate a steady stream of income. In other words, it gives you the best of both worlds!

Don’t believe me? The difference is evident!

The Bottom Line

The fact remains that the opportunity to achieve financial independence through Digital Leasing is simply amazing.

To put things in perspective, you just can’t earn the same kind of income with this business without taking on hundreds of thousands in debt, just like lawyers and doctors do.

5-Steps to 6-Figures

But let me digress. Mentorship has been invaluable to me throughout my journey to financial freedom, and I would definitely not be where I am today without it.

Being a “self-made” success story is somewhat overrated, to be honest. In reality, the majority of people who have achieved significant financial freedom have had guidance from a mentor along the way.

In fact, my mentor provides live sessions every week in his private Facebook group!

Besides that, successful people tend to keep their circles small, so it’s a pleasure being part of a group of similar-minded people.

As for me, I didn’t start out as an entrepreneur or even as a “salesy” type. Therefore, I have my mentor to thank for my success in that regard. He created the opportunity, and I just took it.

Choosing the right business model was also key. The car plays a huge role in the majority of races, much like a race car driver and his car do in the race. Similarly, my success can be largely attributed to the “vehicle” that I use (digital leasing).

Similar to a captain and his ship, the ship is 90% of the sail. Likewise, my success wouldn’t be possible without my vessel (digital leasing).

“My journey began like many others – the all too familiar corporate treadmill, where success seemed defined by long hours in a skyline office. I did well in school, climbed the corporate ladder, but fulfillment felt elusive.

Eventually, that feeling led me to the world of ecom, where I ran dropshipping, print on demand & FBA hustles that brought some successes – but they also brought many challenges.

It wasn’t until I found Digital Leasing that I really found my groove – which still happens to be my #1 recommendation for making money online!”
