TLDR––What’s The Verdict On Simplified Dropshipping?
Alright, let’s spill the tea on Simplified Dropshipping. Is it just another “get rich quick” scheme teaching you to sell cheap junk from China?
If you’re up for gambling your savings on a business model that’s already been taken over by overseas wholesalers, go right ahead. But don’t be surprised when your parents roll their eyes at your latest failed venture.
This course promises to turn you into a 6-figure ecom mogul, but let’s be real. For most of us w/ tight budgets & student loans, that’s just a fantasy. Chasing the latest trendy product that fizzles out in a few months ain’t gonna make you rich.
To be fair, Simplified Dropshipping does have some useful tips for making money online and scoring big ecom profits, but it’s seriously outdated.
So, what are your actual chances of making real money with Simplified Dropshipping?
You’re more likely to fail. That’s just how it goes for 90% of people who try dropshipping.
Dropshipping doesn’t mean consistent income. Also, dropshipping is never going to be a passive, recurring business. As with most businesses, no matter what the gurus claim, it will require constant work.
If you want a business where you have to hustle nonstop, maybe dropshipping is for you. But if you’re dreaming of making money while you sleep & travel the world, dropshipping just isn’t it.
As someone who’s run multiple dropshipping stores on Shopify and Clickfunnels, I can tell you that your time is better spent on other business models.
If you’re looking for something that creates recurring, semi-passive income, you might want to hear about the Digital Rental Method.
Imagine a world where:
- No shady suppliers
- No razor-thin margins
- No banned ad accounts
- No angry customers
- No blowing $10K on testing ad campaigns
It’s something where you could easily make anywhere from $2k to $10k month after month, consistently. A stream of income you can build as high (or low) as you want.
If that sounds more like your jam, you might want to consider the Digital Rental Method.
But if you’re still curious about Simplified Dropshipping, keep reading.

Simplified Dropshipping Business Model
Simplified Dropshipping, as its name implies, is all about dropshipping. It’s the modern way to do ecommerce w/o the hassle of warehouses or a physical store.
Here’s how it works:
- Set up your Shopify store.
- Find popular products that people already love.
- List these products in your niche store and start running ads to attract customers.
- When someone places an order, notify your supplier.
- The supplier ships directly to your customers, so you never have to handle the product.
The key is mastering online marketing, ensuring secure transactions, and speeding up orders to keep the shopping experience smooth.
Scott Hilse Reviews––About The Guru
Scott Hilse is pretty popular on YouTube and social media, with over 100k subscribers on YouTube alone. He’s known for introducing the “One-Product Approach” and “Location Neutral Income Automation.”
The “One-Product Approach” focuses on selling just one product, while “Location Neutral Income Automation” means you can work from anywhere, anytime.
Scott’s LinkedIn profile mentions endorsements from Oberlo, Shopify, and Tai Lopez, which is a bit surprising.
He’s also part of Tai Lopez’s 300 Party and has been featured in Oberlo’s 101 Dropshipping Course and their YouTube videos. Joining the 300 group costs $697.

How Much Does Simplified Dropshipping Cost?
Simplified Dropshipping 5.5 offers both a free version and a paid version. The Simplified Dropshipping cost for the paid version is $497.
All sales are final, and there are no refunds. According to Scott, the course includes sensitive info and tactics that can’t be unlearned once you’ve seen them.
Is Dropshipping Still Worth It?
Before jumping right into dropshipping or any dropshipping course, you need to consider this.
Think about how many dropshipping millionaires you’ve heard about recently. Specifically in the past year. Not so much, right?
A few years ago, you’d hear about at least ten new success stories each year. Now, hitting six figures in a year is considered a huge achievement.
The landscape has changed. So, what’s different now?
First, competition is intense. Every dropshipper is sourcing products from the same places & vendors.
Second, Facebook Ads have become incredibly expensive, & with so many people selling similar products, the competition is brutal.
This makes it much harder for new dropshippers to achieve quick success—that’s pretty much a fantasy now.
Sure, you can still make money with dropshipping, but if you’re going to work that hard to succeed (& trust me, it’s no walk in the park), why not aim for some real money?
Personal Opinion: My Take On These Scott Hilse Reviews
If you hang out at The Inbetween often, you know I’ve explored all kinds of money-making programs, including Simplified Dropshipping.
When looking for reliable programs, you might have stumbled upon lots of negative reviews and it can be tough to know what’s real.
So, how do I break down Simplified Dropshipping? Here’s my approach:
- Expertise Check: I look into Scott Hilse’s experience with dropshipping to ensure he’s legit.
- Support System: It needs to have good support through chat, email, or phone. This is crucial for handling any issues.
- Value for Money: I look into what you get versus what you pay to see if it’s worth it.
- Transparency: I check how honest Scott Hilse is about costs, upsells, refunds, and the overall price.
- Customer Feedback: I find reviews on Trustpilot, Reddit, & the BBB to get the real scoop on the company.
I’ve also reviewed Why Unified, a done-for-you program with minimal training and no mentorship or community support.
Additionally, check out my Online Business Mastery review, which delves into its 10-course module on paid ad strategies and social media marketing, plus access to a private community and a bonus one-on-one mentorship call.
My Recommendation
Let’s break down Simplified Dropshipping using the points we mentioned above:
- Scott Hilse is a knowledgeable dropshipper, so he knows his stuff.
But, here’s why I’m not recommending Simplified Dropshipping:
- Lack of Support: If you run into problems, you’re on your own.
- No Refunds: Once you sign up, there’s no going back. Scott doesn’t offer refunds.
- Low Success Rate: Only 10-20% of dropshipping businesses succeed, so the odds ain’t that great.
Is There a Simplified Dropshipping Scam Going On?
Is there any truth to the Simplified Dropshipping scam allegations? Not exactly. They’re not just going to swipe your cash and vanish into thin air.
The real question is: Is Simplified Dropshipping worth it?
Scott made some big promises when advertising the course. Let’s see if he delivered:
“My step-by-step videos are by far the easiest, most efficient, and least overwhelming way to get real fast results…”
- Easiest and least overwhelming? Sure, tick that box.
- Most efficient? Debatable. Not the cheapest, and the content isn’t all that thorough. The methods are solid but not groundbreaking.
- Real fast results? His shop did show some sales in a few days. So, yes, but not many sales overall.
“…real fast results in dropshipping by taking advantage of One-Product Stores crossed with The Freedom Funnel.”
- One-product store an advantage? Yes, it has its perks. But also downsides like a smaller target audience and limited growth.
- Freedom Funnel? Scott’s “Freedom Funnel” is just a bunch of free apps with a fancy name. Seriously, I was disappointed. Not up to the hype.
“I will build everything from scratch and allow you an inside look at my store and even my products to learn exactly how I did it.”
- Check everything here.
“It’s so simple, in fact, that you can build your entire store, fan page, fill your inventory, and launch your first ad in less than 6 hours.”
- True, but you should definitely spend more time on proper product research alone, which should take a few hours.
“It is even possible that you have your first sale in less than 24 hours.”
- Hmmm…
So, the course is hit-and-miss, especially since most of the content is available for free on YouTube.
And the best part? It almost runs on autopilot so that means more time for friends and family!
What’s Inside Simplified Dropshipping Course?
Like most courses, don’t expect hours of boring lectures. The whole thing clocks in at under three hours, including the intro and outro. If you want a quick dive into dropshipping, this might be it.
Simplified Dropshipping promises a different approach:
Scott Hilse insists that dropshipping stores should focus on a single item. Yep, just one product. For example, if you’re selling sunglasses, sell just one type, not a whole range. Scott claims he had three six-figure stores using this method in 2017.
Now, let’s get real for a sec. He says it’s even possible to make your first sale w/in 24 hours. That’s like saying you might win the lottery on your first ticket. Possible? Sure. Likely? Not so much.
People think dropshipping is an easy way to make money online, and folks like Scott fuel this myth. Claims of quick student success don’t hold water.
Those flashy screenshots? They’re useless without showing how much was spent. Profits don’t mean jack until you know the costs involved, especially for ads.
Even if you double or triple your price, it doesn’t mean instant cash. You’ve got to account for all expenses, with ads being the biggest chunk.
A 20% profit margin is great, but many dropshippers barely scrape by with 5%. Even at 20%, those numbers aren’t that impressive when you break it down.
With skyrocketing ad costs, some dropshippers lose big money on expensive campaigns. Don’t fall for these flashy marketing tactics trying to sell you a course.
Back in 2015-2017, it was easier to make quick bucks w/ dropshipping. But the game has changed.
The gurus made their money through actual dropshipping back then. Now, they’re making bank by selling courses. Don’t get fooled.

Conclusion: Should You Hop Into Simplified Dropshipping?
After diving into Scott Hilse reviews, I can’t recommend Simplified Dropshipping.
Here’s why:
The content is basic and much of it is available for free online. It’s fine for beginners, but lacks the depth and advanced strategies needed to really grow your business.
The “One-Product Approach” and “Freedom Funnel” are interesting but not exactly groundbreaking. Focusing on one product can limit your market and growth.
Support is another issue. Good support is crucial, especially for beginners, but this course doesn’t offer much. If you run into problems, you’re mostly on your own.
I’d rather go for a program and mentor that puts his student’s success first.

What Is My Top Recommendation For Making Money Online In 2024?
I’ve hustled through the online biz scene—selling hair products on Clickbank, dropshipping luxury pillows on Shopify, you name it. I’ve tried them all.
But let me tell you, chasing the “perfect” business model is like chasing unicorns. Newsflash: it doesn’t exist.
But guess what comes close? The Digital Rental Method.
Here’s why it’s a total game-changer:
- Ultimate Flexibility
Dreaming of quitting your 9-to-5? Say no more! Whether you can only spare an hour a day or you’re ready to dive in full-time, the Digital Rental Method fits your lifestyle.
It might take some time, but every little step adds up. Picture yourself sipping cocktails at the beach while cashing in checks from $500 to $2k for each property. No more choosing between time and money!
- Total Ownership
Forget those sketchy business models like Simplified Dropshipping, where you own zilch. You have no control over product quality or delivery times.
Even your precious Shopify site can be shut down by ad platforms without warning. Pour your heart into it just to lose everything overnight? No thanks!
With digital renting, you have full control and ownership without the inventory headaches.
- Zero Fulfillment Hassles
Sure, Simplified Dropshipping saves you from holding inventory, but dealing with overseas shipping is a nightmare.
With the current global supply chain chaos, your customers might wait 6-7 weeks for their orders, leading to endless refund requests.
Digital rental properties eliminate these shipping dramas completely.
- Effortless Scaling
Here’s where it gets exciting: it’s basically a copy-and-paste process. Set up your first Digital Rental Property, find a tenant, and repeat.
You can double your income with minimal extra effort.
Dropshipping business, on the other hand, doubles your hassle and business expenses for half the reward. I should know. Been there, done that.
- Sky-High Profits
Forget dropshipping’s slim margins. The Digital Rental Method offers nearly 100% profit margins with minimal startup costs.
Each digital property can bring in $500 to $2,000 a month in passive income.
More properties mean more money without the extra work. No massive ad spend or relentless traffic chasing—just pure profit.
- Making a Real Impact
And you know what’s the best part? You’re genuinely helping people.
Dropshipping often involves selling low-quality junk that nobody needs. This leads to short-term gains but long-term headaches.
As a digital renter, your digital assets connect local businesses with their customers, helping them thrive. You get paid too, making it a win-win.
You can make a positive impact and sleep soundly at night.
