TLDR – What’s the Scoop on the Ecommerce Freedom Amazon FBA Course?

Okay, let’s break it down. Imagine you’re standing in front of a huge buffet, and Ecommerce Freedom is one of the mouthwatering dishes on display.
It promises to help you build a successful Amazon FBA business, but once you look a little closer, you notice that there’s a few ingredients that might actually not taste so good.
First of all, Amazon FBA takes a lot of time and effort.
Building an Amazon business is like preparing a gourmet meal from scratch. You have to gather all your ingredients – like product research, marketing strategies, and supplier connections.
Then you need to be sure you have the right equipment to make your meal – like tools, software, and inventory – and carefully follow the recipe in a step by step process to create your dish.
As you can imagine, all of this takes a lot of time, money, energy, and resources.
It isn’t as easy as popping a frozen meal into the microwave.
In addition, the Amazon Marketplace is like an overcrowded food court, with there being so many sellers trying to get the attention (and wallets) of customers. Standing out from the crowd can be like an uphill battle.
Let’s also not forget the ever changing landscape of Amazon’s policies and algorithms, which is like a restaurant constantly changing its menu and kitchen protocols.
Amazon FBA is definitely a legit business model, but it has many challenges.
That’s why I recommend the Digital Rental Method as the best business model.
It’s like opening a roadside food truck instead of a full fledged restaurant. You don’t need to worry about creating a menu from scratch or managing your kitchen staff. Instead, you can focus only on generating leads for a local business that are hungry for more customers.
The Digital Rental Method attracts customers, leases those assets to local businesses, and collects passive income each month. Here’s why the Digital Rental Method is easier than Amazon FBA.
- You don’t have to worry about Amazon shutting down your business
- There’s no dealing with overseas suppliers and negotiating pricing
- Very little work in terms of customer service
- Mostly passive income potential without having to manage inventory
All of this helps you to generate a steady income flow that is easily scalable and can increase your revenue.

Who Benefits and Who Doesn’t?

In this section, let’s take a moment to go over who this program is best for, and who it isn’t best for. Understanding the ideal audience for Oliver Denyer’s Ecommerce Freedom program might be helpful for you so you can decide if this course works with your personality traits and goals.
Who Benefits
- Anyone who is driven and determined to put in the hard work and spend the time needed to succeed in the competitive world of Amazon FBA.
- Hopeful entrepreneurs with an eye for finding profitable product opportunities.
- People who thrive in a community environment, as Ecommerce Freedom rely heavily on group coaching calls to learn.
Who Doesn’t Benefit
- People looking to get rich quickly…Amazon FBA can take a lot of time to generate an income.
- Anyone who doesn’t have the funds to invest in products, create listings, and manage inventory.
- Entrepreneurs looking for a truly passive income stream…While the Amazon FBA business can generate income, it isn’t truly passive due to all of the monitoring and ongoing management.
Overall, Ecom Freedom is meant for people who have a strong entrepreneurial spirit, are willing to embrace change, and have the financial means to build a sustainable Amazon FBA business.
But… not everyone has the means to do this. If that’s the case, affiliate marketing or bookkeeping businesses might be a better option because you can start them for almost nothing.

Let’s take a closer look into the world of Ecommerce Freedom – a program that promises to tell you everything you need to know about how to build a successful Amazon FBA business. Before I give you all of the details, Let’s start with a quick overview.
Ecommerce Freedom is an online course created by Oliver Denyer, who is a self-proclaimed Amazon FBA expert.
His program is designed to give you all of the knowledge and strategies you need to navigate the Amazon Marketplace so you can find profitable product opportunities and achieve financial success through ecommerce.
About the Business Model
Amazon FBA, AKA fulfillment by Amazon, involves sourcing products from overseas, listing them on Amazon, and relying on Amazon’s distribution network to handle your storage, shipping, and most of the customer service aspects.
Many people find Amazon FBA fitting for them because it does have the potential to earn passive income. But some of the other models that the program teaches, like retail arbitrage, take a lot more time because you need to source individual products and likely ship them yourself.
There are so many issues with this type of business model.
It requires tons of your time, effort, and money. From researching your products to managing your inventory and perfecting your listings, the Amazon FBA ecommerce journey can quickly become very difficult, overwhelming, and competitive.
About Oliver Denyer

Oliver Denyer is the creator of Ecommerce Freedom. He’s a British entrepreneur who claims to be successful with Amazon FBA.
An interesting fact about Oliver Denyer is that he has a background as a former freelance musician, finding better opportunities for himself with ecommerce.
Based on his reputation online, he seems to be doing a lot of things right. Ecommerce Freedom has a 4.6 out of 5 on Trustpilot across 57 reviews. This is actually one of the better scores I’ve seen from Amazon FBA gurus.
It seems like most of the people who take the course get some type of value from it and it help their ecommerce businesses.
But like many self-proclaimed gurus, I have a tendency not to trust them right away and feel like something is always missing from the puzzle.
Ecommerce Freedom Cost

Okay, so the Ecommerce Freedom cost is extremely expensive, at least to me. This program is mainly geared towards UK sellers and is priced at £10,000…which translates to roughly $12,500.
Yikes…spending thousands of dollars on a course better actually be worth it.
You can find many other Amazon FBA courses at more affordable prices.
The program includes a curriculum and community and support to help set you up with your Amazon FBA business, but I can’t imagine the program being so beneficial that it costs $12,500.
Oh, and there’s a strict no refund policy.
Success isn’t guaranteed ever with these types of programs….so it’s important to think carefully about if you want to spend that kind of money with the possibility it doesn’t work out for you.
What Makes This Program Different Or Not?
The one thing I found interesting about Ecommerce Freedom is that it doesn’t exclusively teach Amazon FBA.
I’ve reviewed plenty of these programs and even taken some of them but they typically all reteach the same methods of sourcing products, white labeling, and selling on FBA.
This program also teaches retail arbitrage and wholesaling which can provide different avenues for you to get started.
For example, if you don’t have enough money to purchase an entire inventory – you can start with retail arbitrage and buy a few things at a time.
I want you to remember…even though the wide range of coverage sounds exciting and seems like you’re getting a lot for your money, you can probably find a lot of the same information he plans to teach you for free on YouTube or Google.
Plus other courses like Justin Phillips Ecom Course or Cortney Fletcher’s Ecom Course cost much less and provide more comprehensive information on building a real business rather than relying on the Amazon platform.
My Personal Opinion

Area of Importance | Score | Takeaway |
---|---|---|
Time Investment | 2/5 | Amazon FBA requires a ton of time upfront with potentially less over time. Either way, you still need to keep an eye on your inventory and reorder products regularly. |
Upfront Cost | 0/5 | Amazon FBA is one of the most expensive business models to start and once you pile a 5-figure program cost on top of that, it’s incredibly expensive. |
Learning Curve | 2/5 | I think Amazon FBA is one of the more difficult business models to learn because you have to deal with suppliers, customs, shipping, branding, patents, and more. |
Profit Potential | 4/5 | If you can manage to overcome all the challenges of FBA, it can be quite lucrative. The problem is surviving the journey there. |
As someone who has researched and reviewed a bunch of online business opportunities, I have to admit…I’m a bit skeptical of Oliver Denyer’s Ecommerce Freedom program…it’s even safe to say I’m a lot skeptical.
Yes, the Amazon FBA business model itself is legitimate and real, but it’s Oliver Denyer’s promises and claims to promise you success that I don’t believe.
You can definitely be successful and eventually achieve financial freedom through ecommerce.
But it isn’t as easy as Oliver Denyer is making it seem.
You will spend so much of your time figuring out what products you want to sell, and the worst part is, Amazon can shut your business down overnight and there’s nothing you can do about it.
And remember what I said about it being expensive? Amazon FBA is already an expensive business model to start…but add on the cost to buy your initial inventory and run ads to your products.
Because you have to pay such close attention to your inventory, it really isn’t a true passive income.
This type of ecommerce program doesn’t guarantee you success, it just claims to help you get there. If you’re not successful, I guess you paid all of that money for the course, your inventory, ads, and wasted a lot of your time.
So, how do you know if this program might help you? I recommend doing these things before deciding against it:
- Look into your budget and decide if you have the funds to keep up with Amazon FBA. If you have the money to start your business and keep up with it, maybe this could work. If not, it’s going to be a struggle.
- Do you know what Oliver Denyer is all about? There’s really not too much information about him out there, other than he changed his life through ecommerce.
- Can you truly see yourself doing Amazon FBA and enjoying it? A lot of your time will be taken up by researching products, running ads, and checking your inventory.
If you feel like the Ecommerce Freedom program is a good fit for you, you can definitely give it a try, but be sure you think about it carefully ahead of time since there is no refund policy and success is never guaranteed.
I have two other course reviews you might find helpful.
The first is Amazon Brand Academy 2.0, which offers 21 modules, 220 lessons, and personalized mentorship from Luca via email.
The second is Savvy Seller FBA, which provides lifetime access to 15 hours of content, continuous mentorship, and a private Facebook group for community support.
Is This an Ecommerce Freedom Scam?
If I’m being honest, there’s no Ecommerce Freedom scam. Oliver is probably giving his best expert advice on how to help you start your Amazon FBA business.
While his strategies are useful and his program might actually help you learn more on how to get started, I cannot guarantee that his program will make you successful, and neither can Oliver.
He claims it will bring you success, but that’s only if things work out in your favor.
The main concern is, does Oliver’s Ecommerce Freedom program actually merit the cost of $12,500?
For anyone trying to learn more about ecommerce and how to start your Amazon FBA business, there are so many things to keep in mind:
- The significant upfront cost of the course, plus the cost of Amazon FBA, inventory, and ads
- The time and effort you will spend keeping up with your business
- A lack of true passive income, as you’ll be busy a lot of the time researching new products, watching your inventory, and dealing with customer service
- The risk of being sold out by large sellers who can charge much less than you and kick your listing off the top pages
The truth is, any ecommerce program you take still has issues and you can’t get around them. That’s why I cannot recommend Ecommerce Freedom.
But I do recommend something else – the Digital Rental Method.
The Digital Rental Method business model actually allows you to earn a true passive income by creating digital assets, ranking them, and attracting local businesses that are in need of leads.
Once the asset is established, you can start earning a passive income without having to do too much.
My favorite thing about Digital Rental Method is that you can have 100% control over your assets. Yes, you’ll have to learn a little bit about Digital Rental Method before beginning, but the community helps to make it easy for you.
I definitely recommend Digital Rental Method before following the Ecommerce Freedom program.
What’s Inside Ecommerce Freedom
Okay, let’s get down to brass tacks and see what kind of goodies Oliver Denyer has packed into his Ecommerce Freedom program with much of the popular training in his Platinum Coaching Program. He claims to give you all the tools and know-how to build a killer Amazon FBA business, so let’s peek under the hood.
The Curriculum
The meat and potatoes of this course is the curriculum, which covers all the bases when it comes to crushing it on Amazon. Here’s a rundown of what you can expect to learn:
Product Research
First up, you’ll get schooled on how to sniff out those sweet, sweet product opportunities. We’re talking strategies for scoping out what’s hot and what’s not, analyzing the competition, and using fancy tools like Jungle Scout to uncover those hidden gem products that are just waiting to make you rich.
Sourcing and Supplier Shenanigans
Once you’ve found your golden goose products, Oliver will show you the ropes on how to source them from suppliers without getting fleeced. You’ll learn how to negotiate like a boss and keep your inventory stocked and ready to roll.
Listing Optimization
Creating listings that pop is key on Amazon, and Ecommerce Freedom has you covered. You’ll learn how to craft those sweet, sweet titles, descriptions, and bullet points that make customers go “Shut up and take my money!”
Marketing and Ad Wizardry
Of course, you gotta get eyeballs on your listings, right? This course will teach you all the tricks for running ads, dominating social media, and even teaming up with influencers to get that sweet, sweet traffic flowing.
Operations and Logistics
From setting up your Amazon Seller account to handling shipping, inventory, and keeping customers happy, Ecommerce Freedom promises to give you the 411 on running a tight operation.
Community and Support
Besides the curriculum, the program includes some community and support help.
Group Coaching Calls
You’ll get to join group coaching calls where you can pick Oliver’s brain, swap war stories with fellow students, and get that sweet, sweet accountability to keep you motivated.
One-on-One Coaching
The details are a bit fuzzy, but the program claims to offer one-on-one coaching sessions, either with Oliver himself or one of his trusty Amazon coaches.
Community Platform
You’ll also get access to a private community platform, whether it’s a Facebook group or a Slack channel, where you can mingle with your fellow Amazon warriors, share tips, and maybe even find a new best friend.
Extra Goodies
Ecommerce Freedom might just throw in some extra resources like templates, tools, or case studies to really sweeten the deal.
Now, all of this sounds pretty sweet, but you know the drill – the real value will depend on how good the actual content is, how knowledgeable the instructors are, and whether they really bring that solid support to the table.
After My Ecommerce Freedom Review…How Do You Feel?
Are you ready to dive into the ecommerce business, spend thousands of dollars, and possibly never see a return?
I don’t know about you, but it doesn’t sound too promising.
Yeah, you can make a living doing Amazon FBA, but it really isn’t a passive income and will completely drain your bank account when starting it. Also, most of your time will be spent trying to research new products, keep an eye on your inventory, and run ads.
So, yes, you can take the insanely expensive Ecommerce Freedom course, but it’s not guaranteed that you’ll actually benefit from it.
There’s a lot of work involved and there isn’t actually passive income.
Therefore, I can’t recommend Ecommerce Freedom.
What Is My Top Recommendation For Making Money Online in 2025?

As of right now, we’ve analyzed everything. We looked at the advantages and disadvantages of Ecommerce Freedom, as well as the specifics of the program. When you first learn about the program, it sounds super enticing because it promises you success with Amazon FBA.
On paper, it seems like the perfect pathway to success, but let me share my personal experience and perspective.
Over the years, I’ve tried many different business models, like:
- Selling gardening supplies on Amazon FBA
- Dropshipping phone accessories on Shopify
- Affiliate marketing for many different networks
Yes, I did make some money doing these business models, but none of them actually helped me earn a true passive income and I did not earn enough to support my family.
But why couldn’t I rely on these business models? This is why:
- The income is inconsistent, one month everything is good, the next month is not
- I couldn’t earn a full time income no matter what I did
- I’ve spent too much money and time on these models, leaving no free time to spend with my family
So, what else could help?
If I were you, I would look into the Digital Rental Method.
The Digital Rental Method has not only impacted my life but it has also impacted the lives of family and friends, giving them the flexibility and freedom to live their lives how they want.
Here’s why the Digital Rental Method is a better option:
- Passive Income: With Digital Leasing, money automatically comes in because of the built in lease agreements. Once your assets are set up, they continue to generate income for you and provide value to your clients.
- Easily Scalable: Your income can easily be increased with Digital Leasing. It’s simple – build out another website, get traffic, and pitch to local businesses who need leads.
- Minimal Time Needed: The Digital Rental Method is primarily hands-off once the asset is up and running.
- Making an Impact: Your assets provide real value for local small business owners who are happy to pay you each month.
As far as I can see, the Digital Rental Method is truly a great opportunity.
