TLDR – The Bottom Line On Ecombabes
If you’re only stopping by for a quick rundown of the ecombabes program, let me save you some time by saying this: you might wanna skip this one out.
Not saying Ecombabes doesn’t live up to its promises…
In fact, there’s a chance you can pocket a few grand a month if you follow her training religiously as some of her students have.
But don’t be fooled; the success stories you hear about online are only a small piece of the pie – 10% of the whole dropshipping game, to be exact.
That leaves you with the rest of the 90% of dropshippers who fail in this space after their first year – that’s if they make it that far.
That’s right, only 1 out of every 10 e-stores that launch actually make it.
Now, if those odds scare you, then you probably shouldn’t stick around for what I’m about to say next.
Just because you made it past the starting line doesn’t mean you’ll be finishing the race. If you think you’re lucky enough to fall into that 10% category, then think again.
Making the kind of “passive income” most dropshipping courses brag about only adds up to maybe $1,500 a month in revenue (not net profit). You’ll still have to account for other overhead costs that quickly dwindle that number.
If you were hoping for a nice return on your investment, up to 10k a month, you’d have to fit into the 1% of dropshipping stores that actually pull in those kinds of numbers, according to stats.
If you ask me, making any kind of money with dropshipping turns out to be a losing game – the proof is in the numbers.
Let’s say you push past all of the odds, and you’re ready to take on the e-commerce market by storm: you did your research, picked the right products, built your online store, chose your suppliers wisely, and optimized all of your product listings.
That’s great and all, but it still doesn’t prepare you for all the other problems that will come your way when running your dropshipping store.
Factor | Stars | Summary |
---|---|---|
Level of Control | 2.0/5 | Although you are your own boss, it basically stops there. You have to give up control over many factors like competition, suppliers, and market trends. |
Ease of Implementation | 3.0/5 | The training is pretty straightforward and knocks out the biggest dropshipping fundamentals in each weekly module. |
Profit Potential | 2.0/5 | The rule of thumb with dropshipping is that you won’t see a return on profit until 3-6 months |
Time Investment | 3.0/5 | The training only takes six weeks to finish. However, learning how to drive traffic can hold you up for weeks, even months. |
For one, with the market being as saturated as it is, that “winning” yoga mat you choose to sell might just have thousands of other hands on it, too.
When it comes to dealing with heavy competition like that, you usually have to dish a lot more capital upfront on paid traffic just to stand out.
Second, convincing a supplier to work with you, a new dropshipper, over the dozens of other big retailer brands and 6-figure dropshippers out there will be an uphill battle, to say the least.
Speaking of ecom retailers, they have a double whammy advantage over you. They profit up to 50% more than regular dropshippers, mostly because they don’t need things like onsite inventory costs.
That, coupled with the best supplier hookups on the market, doesn’t leave you much room to profit.
So, while Ecombabes might be a beginner-friendly course, Cortney isn’t exactly preparing you for a beginner-friendly market.
If you’re someone who thrives in the chaos of constant testing and risk-taking, dropshipping might be your thing.
However, if you want to make money online the right way, hear me out.
I’ve run my own Shopify store in the past, so I can tell you without a doubt that your time would be better spent elsewhere.
If a semi-passive, recurring income type of startup biz is what you’re looking to try, one that doesn’t involve:
- High competition rate
- Low-ticket, low-quality products
- Low profit margins
- Picky suppliers
- Lack of control
- High failure rate
Then you might want to look into alternatives like the Digital Rental Method.
Instead of pushing low-quality products for a quick-fix payout that will be gone tomorrow, this method focuses on building digital assets aka websites that grow and make you money over time, around the clock.
Not to mention these websites you learn to build are 100% yours, meaning you’re in full control.
As a lead gen solopreneur, you can forget about supplier and shipping headaches for good.
The road to digital renting and getting paid 10k+ a month isn’t too far if you follow a few simple steps.
It’s a income stream that you can build to your liking, and doesn’t leave your life in the hands of someone else.

Who Is Ecombabes Geared For?
Remember, while dropshipping can work for some, it comes with its own set of challenges that make it not such a great fit for most others.
So, is ecombabes the right online training for you?
That depends on where you fit inside this whole online space. Are you a dropshipping newbie? Or is this course telling you everything you already know?
Considering these factors should help you decide.
Ecombabes is for you if:
- You’re a newcomer to the ecommerce world and are interested in building your online marketing skills in general
- You’re a stay-at-home mom looking for an opportunity to start own internet marketing business.
- You’re interested in building your own online boutique and selling items like clothes and jewelry.
Then again, you should skip Ecombabes if:
- You’re looking for more quality control and less competition when it comes to running your online business.
- If you’re looking for decent proof of student success, this Reddit user calls out the program for its “fake reviews” and its MLM-recruit-like feel.
- You’re not ready to take on the low-profit margins and other hassles that come with running a dropshipping business.

Cortney Fletcher Reviews: 1,000 FT View Of Ecombabes
To understand more about Cortney Fletcher’s ecombabes program, let’s shift things to a birds-eye view.
What Is The Dropshipping Business Model?
The dropshipping business model revolves around building your own eCommerce store and selling products online without dealing with physical inventory.
It works by finding profitable products to sell, creating optimized listings and product descriptions, and partnering with suppliers who fulfill both inventory and shipping.
In a nutshell, the customer buys the product from you, you buy the product from your supplier, who then ships it directly to their door. Easy-peasy, right?
Arguably, the biggest winning factor when it comes to dropshipping is the ability to run an online storefront without the hassle of managing stock.
What makes it so low risk for some is the simple fact that you don’t need to buy anything unless the customer buys it first. It’s actually what entices a lot of people to get started.
It’s also a low barrier to entry compared to other online business models out there, which is why the model has become so popular over the years. It allows more people the chance to make money online, becoming entrepreneurs with less upfront capital.
But that said, these pros can lead to cons in the long run. For one, when you work with suppliers, you’re also giving up control over things like shipping times and product quality.
Both of these, if handled wrong, can lead to bad reviews of your products and therefore, negatively affect your business.
There’s also the marketing factor. There’s a lot of skill and expertise when it comes to attracting customers to your store. The more visibility your listings have in search results, the better.
Who Is Cortney Fletcher?
Cortney Fletcher is the beauty and brains behind Ecombabe’s flagship program. According to her official site bio, she went from college dropout to an ecom entrepreneur in a matter of days, all thanks to dropshipping.
After spending some time learning the business, she decided to take all of the skills she learned in her journey to 5-figures a day (yep, you heard that right) and fit them all into her online course.
Cortney claims that her personal boutique sales alone are responsible for her easygoing lifestyle and also allow her the time to give back and teach her money-making skills to her students.
These days, it’s unclear whether whether she spends more time running the daily tasks of her program, or if she focuses more on building her personal sales. Either way, Cortney swears by the dropshipping model as a way to break free from your 9-5, as she did.

Is Dropshipping Still Worth It?
Looking at projections, the dropshipping market is looking to grow by $71 billion by 2025, taking it from 301 billion to almost 372 billion dollars in just one year!
Based on these numbers, you could argue that the demand for selling products online is on the rise more than ever.
It makes you wonder though, if dropshipping is so profitable, why isn’t everyone doing it?
As mentioned before, it has everything to do with the number of dropshippers who flop in their first year of business.
But what causes such a high failure rate when it comes to running an online Shopify store?
For one, the competition you face when trying to choose the right product to sell makes standing out tough.
Ecombabes even dedicates a whole video module to tackling this issue with different marketing tactics and driving free traffic to your store using the concept of connective ecommerce.
Still, running Google and Facebook ads gets expensive over time and can eat into your already low-profit margins.
Speaking of the margins, it’s another part of the equation that determines the success and longevity of your ecommerce store.
Since you’re dealing with such low-ticket products, they’re probably going to be low quality, too. All of this translates to lower profit margins and more money going into things like refund requests, onsite overhead costs, paid traffic, etc.
Here are some other things to consider that can make the difference between failure and success when running your online store:
- Wrong product research
- Low-quality products
- lack of marketing efforts
- Lack of skills and preparation
- Shipping errors
How Much Does eCom Babes Cost?
After doing some digging, I found that the cost to join Ecombabes will run you about $2,000. There are also no known upsells that come along with the program at first glance.
However, it’s worth mentioning that some would-be students on Reddit were suspicious when they were asked during their sales call to dish out almost $3,800 bucks in upsells.
But, as with any online review, you should take that with a grain of salt.
Cortney also doesn’t mention anything about a refund policy or satisfaction guarantee when it comes to getting your money back.
If you ask me, this isn’t always a good sign when choosing a business model with so many uncertainties.
Is Ecombabes Legit?
Now for the question you came here for: Is eCom Babes the real deal? Yes – technically speaking.
Then again, it’s not exactly at the top of my list.
Reality is, beating the curve in dropshipping can feel a bit like trying to tower a house of cards in a windstorm; you’re trying your best to stack your odds, yet the gust of market chances and tough competition in the biz can quickly knock you down.
Also, considering the whopping 10% chance you can make money with this dropshipping these days, it’s not exactly the answer to your financial freedom dreams.
For the record, I’m all for long-term success in exchange for short-term hard work.
But if I’m gonna hustle day in and day out just to see all my hard-earned money flush down the toilet… it’s just not worth the risk.
Instead of focusing on pushing low-quality items that don’t give you much return, why not spend your time learning how to build digital assets like websites that grow over time (and make you money on autopilot) instead?
That’s where alternative business models like the Digital Rental Method come in. This business flips the script when it comes to getting ahead in the online space in 2024.
It removes the hassle of having to deal with:
- Product management
- Onsite inventory costs
- Hard-to-find suppliers
- Low barrier to entry
By building and running traffic to these websites, you’re generating local leads for businesses that need them, plus it pays you pretty well.
Can you imagine working just a few hours a day, whenever you want, while earning a steady $500-$2k for every site you build?
& it only takes a laptop and an internet connection to make it happen.

How Does The Training Stack Up With Others?
There’s no shortage of ecom courses out there that all claim to teach you the same thing. That said, how does ecombabes compare to other dropshipping courses in the space?
It’s worth pointing out that eCombabe uses a unique concept called connective eCommerce in its dropshipping approach. In a nutshell, this method utilizes the affiliate marketing strategy to eliminate the hassle of paying for traffic to your store.
Cost-wise, the training is comparable to other dropshipping programs out there, meaning it’s not too expensive, but the value is still there. If you’re looking for a free training option, you can check out Creato.
When it comes to content, Ecombabes is considered more in-depth and covers more training material than other programs like ECom Elites.
Other options, like the Low Hanging System, take more of a POD approach to dropshipping and focus more on product customization.
In addition to the Ecombabe Course, it’s worth noting that I also have an Ecom Degree University Review, which could provide further insights into different avenues for e-commerce education and training.
Ecombabe.com Reviews: My Personal Opinion
It’s easy to lose track of what works and what doesn’t in the world of online business. And quite frankly, it can become overwhelming.
That’s why I take my reviews so seriously, because I want you to have a clear picture of your best options possible.
Hell, it’s the kind of guidance I wish I had back when I was knee-deep in my Shopify days.
From where I’m standing, there’s a lot of potential from Cortney and her Ecom Babes course. She has a lot of backing from students that her system actually works, and there’s a lot of promise when you compare her to other lesser-known dropshipping programs.
Her program is a reminder that passive income is possible, but it’s not as easy as eCombabes makes you think.
That being said, what factors do I consider when taking the plunge on a program?
- How much social proof is out there
- The amount of value in the training
- The resources offered outside the program
- How much first-hand experience the guru has
So, what’s my recommendation?
If you’re a woman looking to empower yourself through entrepreneurship, then starting your own ecommerce business with eCom Babes can be worth it.
Considering the training only takes 6 weeks to complete and gives you all the guidance you need to start your online boutique, there’s a good chance dropshipping can work for a lot of people.
In fact, if you peek at Ecom Babe’s YouTube channel, you’ll see a lot of success stories there.
Still, the bad news outweighs the good in the end:
- This would-be student took to Trustpilot saying they were intentionally hung up on during a sales call after asking about the program cost. To me, it’s always a red flag when program transparency is clearly lacking – even before joining.
- Sometimes, the upfront cost to join a course is enough to scare folks away. In this case, the price tag isn’t too shabby at $2,000 to join. BUT (and there’s a big BUT here), the pitfalls of dropshipping mean more money spent in the end constantly testing products. This means 2k is just the beginning.
- One Redditor called out the fact that they were quoted $3,800 to join the program! And to make things worse, another student on the same chat thread reported they were actively trying to get that $3,800 refunded back. Deceptive selling tactics like this are very telling about what to expect and whether a course is worth joining or not.
Keep in mind that these are just a few of the many reasons why I don’t recommend eCom Babes or dropshipping in general.
What’s Inside The Ecombabes Training?
eCom Babes is a dropshipping training program geared towards women that teaches you how to run a successful online store or boutique.
The training modules are broken into 6 weeks and cover everything you need to start building your own Shopify boutique, including:
Module 1: Entrepreneurial Mindset Introduction
The first week is all about getting into the right mindset prior to building your online store. The module focuses on personal growth, goal-setting, and building a foundation to get the most out of the training.
It also gives budding entrepreneurs a rundown of several different tips and qualities that lead to more success over time.
Module 2: Embracing The Digital Shift
Week two shows you how to take full advantage of the retail industry’s shift into the digital age by introducing what’s called connective eCommerce. The evolution of retail into technology has replaced the old way of selling, and this module covers how to solidify your store with this concept in mind.
Module 3: Launching Your Ecom Store
The third module focuses on building and scaling your ecom store. You’ll learn how to optimize and customize your website to increase conversions, and Cortney breaks down the process of registering your domain.
Module 4: Data Research
This module is all about teaching you how to leverage customer data across social media sites for the sake of building customer relationships and trust in your store. Cortney shows you how to create your socials for exposure in reaching new clients.
Module 5: Connective eCommerce
The whole idea of ‘connective eCommerce’ combines the models of both affiliate marketing and dropshipping so you don’t have to rely on PPC to drive traffic to your online store. The unique affiliate marketing approach of connective eCommerce lets you take advantage of using free marketing tactics like social media.
Module 6: Social Media Marketing
The last week is specially reserved by Cortney for creating effective ad campaigns that increase conversions. The training focuses on using social media platforms like Facebook and Instagram to your advantage in creating free traffic to your own online store.
Bonus training options:
- Facebook coaching group
Conclusion
In a male-dominated industry like eCommerce, eCom Babe is definitely an eye-catcher.
I can understand where Cortney is headed with the whole women power thing (and I stan for it).
Still, at the end of the day, the Ecombabes program just doesn’t make the cut if you’re truly looking for the best way to make passive income online.
Speaking beyond just the course, the dropshipping model isn’t looking too promising for anyone looking to get started in 2024. Yes, growth projections might paint a different story of success, but the stats don’t lie either.
In fact, they’re shouting it loud and clear: Cortney’s dropshipping method is not a smart move to make.
Personally, I have no beef with Cortney or her program. I’ve just learned the hard way that filling your store with cheap products from China doesn’t work.
Other models like the digital rental method put the focus solely on you being your own boss.
This means taking advantage of the ‘rank and rent’ method to generate leads for local businesses.
The more digital assets you create, or websites, the higher your profit ceiling becomes.
The best part is these digital assets unlock the key to time and financial freedom without the inventory and competition headaches that come along with dropshipping.
What Is My Top Recommendation For Making Money Online In 2024?
Throughout my career, I have experimented with countless online businesses. From selling resistance bands on Amazon FBA to dropshipping decorative pillows on Shopify – I’ve done it all.
& while there may not be a “perfect” business model as such, the answer is clear: there’s no better online business model to start with than the Digital Rental Method.
No matter how much or little experience you have in this space, the Digital Rental Method is for you. It’s the most efficient way to earn substantial income, regardless of whether you have ever made a dollar online.
Here’s why:
#1 Flexible: Are you ready to quit your job and dive in full-time? There’s no need! Even with just an hour a day, you can make a difference in a Digital Rental Method business. Sure, it takes time to get results, but even chipping in a little each day is enough to achieve results.
I’m talking about flying to beautiful places like Maui, Tokyo, or France while collecting multiple checks worth $500 to $2,000. That’s pretty sweet!
Create a semi-passive income stream, and you won’t have to decide between time and money.
#2 Full Ownership: You don’t actually own anything with dropshipping. You can’t control the quality of your product or even when it arrives.
Although you own your Shopify site, ad platforms could take you down at a moment’s notice… so you don’t really have much control over that either.
What’s the point of investing your heart into something that you could lose overnight, without warning?
Being a digital landlord grants you full control and ownership of your assets without the hassle of inventory management.
#3 Fulfillment Process: Maybe you don’t need to worry about inventory, but shipping your products can pose a new set of challenges.
With today’s global supply chain issues, it may take up to 6-7 weeks for your customers to receive their orders!
That means all the effort put into testing and advertising may be useless when your now-frustrated customer requests a refund.
Fortunately, you can avoid these issues if you rent out digital properties.
#4 Copycat Method: The best part? It’s effectively copy-and-paste. Once you’ve set up your first Digital Rental Property, you can duplicate it and find another willing “tenant” in a day or two, doubling your income without much effort.
Dropshipping requires double the inventory sale, or double the profit margin to double your income. And I can assure you (from my Shopify dropshipping days), that’s a lot harder than what you might think!
#5 Higher Profitability: Unlike dropshipping, which often results in slim margins, Digital Landlordship offers nearly 100% profit margins with minimal startup costs.
With each digital rental property generating you up to 2k per month in passive income, adding more properties translates to more income with minimal effort on your part.
You can avoid spending a crazy amount on ads or driving traffic, making it an ideal choice for those seeking higher profits.
#6 Making a Real Difference: You’re helping real people, and that’s the best thing about it. Dropshipping often involves selling low-quality products that provide no real value to customers or society as a whole, resulting in short-term profit but long-term problems.
The Digital Rental Method allows you to bridge the gap between local businesses and their customers, helping them survive and grow while also supporting struggling families. & you both get paid, so it’s a win-win.
Alternatively, you could just spend the rest of your life researching, never pulling the trigger.
Or, you can take a step forward and think about what you truly want out of life. You have the chance to join a program that turns dreams into reality, just like it has for 2,000+ students who’ve discovered Digital Rental Method.
With the right strategy, you can create a steady, reliable, and semi-passive income stream that doesn’t require much time or effort on your part.
So, instead of exploring other dropshipping programs like eCom Babes, choose the Digital Rental Method instead!
You’ll gain financial freedom all while growing people’s businesses!
Find out here how you can make passive income with the digital rental method.
