Ecom Elites is a dropshipping training course covering everything you'll need to set up a Shopify store and hopefully sell a lot of items. It covers the basics of Shopify, Facebook ads, Instagram ads, Chatbot marketing, email marketing, Google Ads, sales funnels and more. Members get access to a private Facebook group and weekly Q&A sessions with the course's founder Franklin Hatchett.

The Strengths

  • Ecom Elites is a comprehensive course that covers several different methods of generating traffic, so it's unlikely you'll need to buy another dropshipping course after this one.
  • Franklin Hatchett is constantly uploading new videos to the course, so there's no danger of this one becoming outdated.
  • The course is available at a great price compared to its competitors and there's a generous 30-day refund period too, so there's little financial risk involved with buying the course.

The Weaknesses

  • The course doesn't adequately cover the potential hurdles that dropshippers face, which might give some students false expectations.
  • Some important modules are reserved only for the Ultimate tier of the course, which can be seen as a sneaky way to rinse more money out of customers.
  • A few of the later modules aren't as detailed as what I've seen in other courses, which might leave some advanced students disappointed.

TLDR – What’s The Verdict

Ecom Elites Review TLDR

Ecom Elites delivers a comprehensive overview of dropshipping, which is the art of selling products online without holding inventory.

It’s arguably the most convenient method of selling physical products, which is why so many aspiring entrepreneurs have jumped on this bandwagon.

But is it the smartest way to make money online in the modern day? Well, let’s say it’s not as easy as the industry gurus want you to believe.

A big problem is that every other online entrepreneur has already launched a dropshipping store. That means you have to compete with dozens of wannabe digital nomads to make a sale.

It’s possible to get a head-start by finding the hottest new product before anyone else. But that takes a lot of trial and error, and it won’t take long before your competitors catch onto the trend.

To call dropshipping ‘saturated’ is an overstatement. Try uber-saturated. Or even tsunami-saturated. Whatever you try to sell, you’ll be drowning in competition.

This isn’t ideal for beginners, especially when you consider the low profit margins that have always plagued this niche. You’re not only paying significant fees to your online store and product supplier, but you’ll also most likely be splashing the cash on adverts to promote your online store.

This is how Ecom Elites teaches you to generate traffic. Dropshippers typically aim for profit margins between 15%-20%. This means you’re going to make a $2 profit from your $10 necklace if you’re lucky. That’s assuming that enough people buy after seeing and clicking your adverts.

One of the biggest myths about dropshipping is that it provides passive income. Sure, you might make sales while you sleep, but it’s a daily grind to ensure those profits keep rolling in. You’ll be constantly hunting for new products, tweaking ad campaigns, improving landing page copy, and dealing with angry customers. The list goes on…

Ecom Elites will teach you all of these skills, but it doesn’t leave much time for enjoying your life.

These are the main reasons why I find it difficult to recommend dropshipping courses to you, even those as value-packed as this one.

If you were to quit your job to become a dropshipper, you’re essentially taking on another full-time hustle. A hustle where big profits are far from guaranteed.

That’s why I ditched dropshipping for a business model that provides more reliable income with less hassle.

Nowadays, I make money by creating digital assets and renting them out to local business owners. It’s called the Digital Rental Method.

Because I’m operating in local markets, there’s no chance of being drowned out by competitors. Not with 50+ local business niches across 500,000+ cities in the U.S. alone.

I can rent out each of these assets for $500 – $2,000 per month, depending on the business niche. Since these assets tend to generate even more money for the business owner, they’re usually excited to pay me again and again.

It’s a simple process for creating a new digital asset and finding a new customer to rent it. Once you’ve created your first one, your business pretty much runs on autopilot. Better yet, most of the profits remain in your pocket.

I now get to spend the best part of my days playing Lego with my two children. I know other people who have taken the chance to travel the world, knowing they can run their Digital Rental Method business from anywhere.

Either way, that sounds a lot more fun than endlessly fiddling with Google Ads and searching for the next cheap product to sell. You can learn more about how I got started with the Digital Rental Method by watching this video.

Who Would Benefit From Ecom Elites And Who Wouldn’t?

Ecom Elites Who Benefits And Who Doesn't

For the most part, this is a thorough course available at a good price. For this reason, Ecom Elites could be a good fit if you fit the following criteria.

  1. You’re sure that dropshipping is the best business model for you, and there’s no convincing you otherwise.
  2. You have capital available to spend on the Ecom Elites course, as well as the various fees associated with dropshipping.
  3. You’re willing to invest time and money into a step-by-step dropshipping course delivered by a proven expert.

Are you happy to spend money to make money? Do you back yourself to beat the competition? Then, dropshipping could work for you. Some people still make a good return from this business model, and the Ecom Elites course can stop you from making silly beginner’s mistakes.

But what if you’re not married to the idea of selling cheap items at a profit? What if you’re put off by the competitive nature of dropshipping, the low profit margins and the hard work needed to succeed? What if you’re looking to make passive income in the next few weeks?

In this case, I’d suggest Ecom Elites isn’t the right fit. (Try this course instead).

How Does The Dropshipping Business Model Work?

Dropshipping involves selling items from an online store without storing the inventory yourself. Instead, when you sell a product, you have it shipped directly from the supplier to the customer.

It’s a popular online business model due to its low start-up costs. Also, there’s no risk of buying inventory that you’re unable to sell.

There are significant downsides to this model, though. For starters, most dropshippers have to rely on paid ads to drive traffic to their stores. This means that their profit margins are consistently low. They may also spend more on ads than they make in sales.

You’ll need a lot of sales every month to make a living from dropshipping. Most gurus achieve this by testing and scaling their online ads. Perhaps they’ll spend $5 per day on several ad campaigns to see which one performs best. From there, they’ll up their spend on winning campaigns and scrap everything else. Provided the winning ads are profitable, there’s little stopping them from scaling to the moon.

Franklin Hatchett has said that some people make $900 per day from this technique, although it’s not clear how much of this is profit.

Even if you don’t scale your business to these heights, successful dropshipping will suck a lot of your time. It’s a daily grind to hunt for new products and tweak your ad campaigns. All products lose their popularity with time. All ad campaigns eventually stop becoming profitable.

To succeed as a dropshipper, you have to stay on top of this. Otherwise, you’ll flush your money away on ads that don’t convert into sales.

You’re also responsible for customer complaints and product returns. In my experience, there’ll be a lot of these. Some of the cheapest dropshipping suppliers take at least 15-20 days to deliver a product, which is long enough to inspire an angry email in this day and age.

Having tried dropshipping myself, I can confirm that it’s possible to make money.

But you’ll have to work for it.

And you’ll have to be better than every other wannabe Jeff Bezos in the dropshipping game.

Franklin Hatchett Reviews: Can This Ecommerce Guru Be Trusted?

Franklin Hatchett, Founder Of Ecom Elites

Franklin Hatchett is a New Zealander who has been sharing YouTube videos about making money online since 2012.

His channel covers many different money-making niches. The most popular videos include guides on NFTs, mining Ethereum and ClickBank marketing. So, he’s clearly a guy with his fingers in a lot of financial pies.

It’s been that way for a long time too. In this interview with Sell The Trend, he revealed that he used to own a large dating website which he sold back in 2006 (way before online dating became mainstream). He also used to own the Instagram tag @Hollywood and says he regrets selling it.

Franklin’s main online hustle has changed over the years. He started off making small niche websites ranking them in Google and raking in the ad revenue. Next, he tried his hand at promoting affiliate products with Facebook ads. It made him a tidy profit, but he was soon back to square one after the affiliate program shut down.

This setback inspired him to start his own dropshipping business, which soon became his main source of income. He’s since made his name as an online coach. His drop shipping course Ecom Elites and affiliate marketing course Savage Affiliates have both sold well.

Franklin loves to tell his audience that anyone can make big money online if they’re willing to follow these three steps.

  • Turn off the TV
  • Accept responsibility
  • Start making things happen

It’s a message that resonates with many people, which is probably why he’s attracted so many subscribers to his YouTube channel.

His channel has over 590,000 subscribers at the time of writing. He’s still uploading regularly, so that number is only likely to grow. If you like hearing about new and interesting money-making opportunities (as most of my readers do), it’s worth subscribing to him.

Franklin has a relaxed teaching style, but he always includes enough depth to be understood by beginners and old hands.

Franklin Hatchett Net Worth

Franklin Hatchett Net Worth

Many people like to discover the net worth of a money-making guru before they consider being trained by them. I suppose they want to check that this person isn’t a normie in disguise. No one wants to be tricked by the guy who takes photos with rented Ferraris while living in a moldy one-bedroom apartment.

Anyway, I can assure you that Franklin Hatchett isn’t that guy. There’s no concrete evidence of his net worth online, but there’s enough for us to assume he’s the real McCoy. For example, check out this 2019 video which reveals his ClickFunnels earnings.

A quick web search of “Franklin Hatchett Net Worth” brings up some detailed estimates based on his various income streams. These tend to suggest he’s worth between $1 million and $5 million, which is likely to be accurate considering how long he’s been in the game.

How Much Does Ecom Elites Cost?

Ecom Elites comes available in two price tiers, although both are relatively affordable compared to its competitors.

Ecom Elites Standard costs $197, while Ecom Elites Ultimate will set you back $297.

These are both one-time payments and there are no hidden costs within the course.

With that said, you’ll need some extra funds to cover the cost of setting up your ecommerce store, as well as the ads that’ll drive traffic toward it.

We’ll explore the contents of Ecom Elites Standard vs Ecom Elites Ultimate later on in this review.

For now, I’ll share that the main benefit of the Ultimate package is a series of ‘done for you’ funnels, which should help you to start making money a lot quicker. There are also two e-books that reveal the top-selling dropshipping niches and top-selling dropshipping products as recommended by Franklin.

According to the Ecom Elite website, the Standard package contains everything you need to launch your online business, while the Ultimate Package adds everything you need to scale your business to the moon.

Is Ecom Elites worth the money? I’d say both packages offer great value if you’re sure that a career in dropshipping is right for you. If you’re not aware of the downsides, you could end up wasting your time and money on a pursuit that only serves to frustrate you.

Ecom Elites Refund Policy

Ecom Elites Refund Period

According to the Ecom Elite website, you’ll get a refund if you’re not satisfied with the product for whatever reason, provided you request it within 30 days.

This is mighty generous compared to other courses in similar niches, some of which only include 72-hour refunds and make you jump through a bunch of hoops to get your money back.

Ecom Elites Refund Policy

As you’ll see in the image above, there are some exceptions to this general rule hidden in the terms of use.

For example, if you’re caught downloading the videos from the course, you can be refused a refund. Also, if you claim to have bought the course by accident but are seen to have watched a lot of videos, your refund may also be denied.

In my opinion, these are fair steps to hamper customers with bad intentions. Even with these exceptions, the refund policy is still more lenient than other courses on the market.

A relaxed refund policy like this should always be seen as a green flag. Take it as a sign that an online guru is confident in the strength of their product.

Ecom Elites Affiliate Scheme

Ecom Elites used to include an affiliate scheme that would pay students a 25% commission for every new customer they referred. However, that opportunity has been taken away for new customers. That’s what the disclaimer at the bottom of the Ecom Elites website says, anyway.

It’s always worth knowing whether an online program has an affiliate scheme in place. If it does, you should be more wary of the positive reviews you read online, as these could always be written by secretly dissatisfied affiliates looking to make a quick buck. Most of these guys have no shame about recommending a product that didn’t work for them.

For the record, I’m not an Ecom Elites affiliate. I just like to call out the strengths and weaknesses of online programs as I see them.

Are There Any Alternatives To Ecom Elites?

Ever since the huge rush of wannabe entrepreneurs trying to make money from dropshipping, there has also been a huge influx of gurus trying to teach people how to do it.

Franklin Hatchett is competing against many other established experts in this niche, but would appear to be doing just fine for himself.

The low cost of Ecom Elites compared to most of its competitors certainly helps. Many people are also impressed by the experience and depth of knowledge that Franklin displays in his YouTube videos.

For a broader perspective, see my article on the Best Dropshipping Courses & Gurus in 2024.

My Personal Opinion On Franklin Hatchett And His Ecom Elites Program

Ecom Elites Review My Personal Opinion

When Franklin Hatchett claims that people can make $900 per day from his methods of dropshipping, it’s natural to ask whether his course is legit.

It sounds too good to be true, right?

Well, first things first, Franklin Hatchett is a legit coach. His Ecom Elites course will teach you how to make money with a dropshipping business. Pound for pound, it’s one of the best dropshipping courses out there.

But, even with Franklin’s advice, dropshipping won’t be a walk in the park for you. If you want to make a full-time income, you’ll have to work full-time hours.

When Franklin says he knows people making $900 a day, this isn’t all profit. You’d have to subtract the money spent on ads, Shopify costs and various other fees charged by the suppliers.

The profit margins are famously slim in this business model, and that’s why you’ll have put in the hours into optimizing every ad campaign, landing page and product you’re selling. That’s the minimum effort required just to break even!

To strike it rich, you need to be constantly finding the next hot product before your competitors saturate the market. On top of that, you’ll have to become a master copywriter, paid ads guru and social media marketing expert. All this to hopefully make a 15% profit on every $12 item you sell.

I’ve launched and managed dropshipping stores while being well-versed in these skills, and the stress was still taking its toll on my body. I can’t imagine how difficult this could be for a complete beginner.

It’s a constant battle to keep the profits rolling in. Products lose popularity. Ad campaigns become less profitable. You always need to be ahead of the game and it wears you down.

That’s without mentioning the constant fear of having your Facebook or Instagram account banned. This is a common scenario for dropshippers who accidentally break the terms of service on these platforms.

Now, don’t get me wrong. I’m all for working hard if it means a big financial reward. But there’s no guarantee that’ll be the case with a dropshipping business, especially in the modern day when so many other people are trying to sell the same cheap items as you.

I’d much rather work on an online business without an army of competitors trying to steal my customers. An online business where big paydays are arriving consistently without me having to unearth the next big product. That’s what I’ve found with The Digital Rental Method.

Life is far less stressful when you have a handful of clients paying you $500 – $2,000 every month.

I rent out digital assets that typically make them even more than that, so they’re happy to keep paying me month after month.

There’s no dealing with sketchy suppliers, razor-thin margins or angry customers. Only local business owners who are thrilled that you’ve helped them attract so many leads. And there’s not much customer service needed when your clients are happy.

It’s a simple copy-and-paste process to create new digital assets and find new renters, but I’m not too interested in scaling my business to the moon.

I’m already making enough money to live comfortably and spend most days playing Lego with my two sons. That’s all this online guru needs to be happy 🙂

If you want to live a comfortable life spending lots of time with your friends and family, this is the most ‘passive’ business model I’ve discovered. If you want to scale your business and live a baller lifestyle, that’s entirely possible too. It’s certainly easier to get rich this way than by selling cheap accessories from China.

Anyway, this video will show you how the Digital Rental Method works in greater detail. Give it a watch if you want a clearer picture of how this business model is helping young entrepreneurs live their dream lives.

What’s Inside Franklin Hatchett’s Ecom Elites Program?

What's Inside Ecom Elites?

This wouldn’t be a complete Ecom Elites review without a rigorous investigation of the course’s contents. So, let’s see what you’ll learn inside each of the modules if you decide to go ahead and buy Ecom Elites.

New Members Video

The course begins with a quick introductory video, where Franklin welcomes you to Ecom Elites and assures you that you’ve made a great decision. The video explains what you can expect from the course and why it’s better than other ecommerce courses out there.

He doesn’t waste time explaining his back story or why he’s the best teacher to learn from since you probably got the gist of that in his free videos (or earlier in this review).

This is a great thing about Franklin’s teaching throughout the course. There’s no pointless fluff. He’ll only share what you really need to know.

ECom Elites Onboarding

The Ecom Elites onboarding video will help you get used to all the resources that come along with the course.

“Welcome to the internet’s best damn money-making course,” says Franklin to kick us off.

Not gonna lie. I respect the arrogance.

Franklin confirms that this is a course for beginners who need help launching their dropshipping business. I think he’s selling himself short here, since there are some advanced tips that’ll help you succeed and beat your competitors also (especially in the Ultimate tier).

Franklin also takes some time to set reasonable expectations for students in this module. He says dropshipping isn’t a get-rich-quick scheme and it’ll take a lot of time and effort to succeed.

And he’s damn right about that.

In fact, that’s more true in the modern day than it was when he filmed the videos for this course.

Module 1: Setting Up Your Shopify Store

Those who are familiar with the dropship lifestyle will know this is a sensible place to start the course. Shopify has been the #1 choice for dropshipping beginners for some time now, mostly due to the ease of which you can get everything up and running.

That doesn’t stop Franklin from delivering a super-detailed walkthrough for setting up your Shopify store. He leaves no stone unturned so even the biggest technophobe will have no problems getting started.

The module covers the various shipping methods available to you, plus payment methods like Visa, PayPal and Stripe.

You’ll be introduced to the essential apps for launching a successful store, including Amazon Plugin and Lazy Load.

Franklin will also cover other important aspects of a profitable store including funnels, abandoned cart emails and automation.

Module 2: Sourcing Products

If you’re new to the world of dropshipping, you might be shocked to encounter a 5-hour module on choosing the items to sell in your store. But, trust me, it’s worth taking a lot of notes here.

The success of your ecommerce store largely depends on your ability to locate up-and-coming products that’ll fly off the shelves. The more saturated the drop-shipping market becomes, the more essential this skill becomes.

Thankfully, Franklin has some interesting and unique concepts to help you stay ahead of the curve.

A large part of this module is centered around finding products in the “real world” to sell online. Franklin will introduce you to the variety of niche research software he uses to do this successfully. Once again, this is a step-by-step walkthrough guide showing you exactly how Franklin makes it work.

Module 3: Facebook Ads

Most successful dropshippers drive traffic to their ecommerce stores with paid ads. This is a method which requires a lot of skill and knowledge of the various advertising platforms, otherwise you’re going to waste a ton of money on unprofitable ad campaigns.

For this reason, Franklin devotes a large chunk of his course to help you become a master of running ads on social media and Google.

The Facebook advertising module is the longest and most comprehensive in the course – this is how Franklin struck it rich, after all – so get ready to sit down and learn.

You’re going to find out

  • How to correctly set up a Facebook Ads account
  • How Franklin promotes himself on Facebook
  • How to create the perfect target audience on Facebook based on the platform’s powerful demographic tools.
  • How to use the Facebook Pixel to target warm leads.
  • How to split-test your Facebook ad campaigns.
  • How to run retargeting campaigns based on data from your previous FB ads.
  • How to scale winning ad campaigns to increase your profits.
  • Other more advanced topics like optimization, power editing and mining.

Once again, the lessons feature practical advice based on real scenarios that could occur.

Module 4: Instagram Traffic

Instagram is a newer medium for advertisers, and perhaps that’s why there aren’t as many dropshipping gurus who are bullish on IG ads.

Franklin focuses a whole module on his Instagram advertising methods though, and there are some interesting insights here too.

You’ll discover how to

  • use Instagram to boost traffic to your ecommerce store.
  • make use of influencer marketing to boost the hype around your products.
  • design Instagram ads that make people stop scrolling and click.
  • create a consistent posting schedule that builds your audience and brand loyalty.

Module 5: Email Marketing

Don’t listen to the smart-asses who say email is dead. They don’t know what they’re talking about.

Email marketing is another key tool in your arsenal, especially when it comes to building brand loyalty.

Franklin knows this and he’ll show you all the necessary skills to make the most of email marketing in this module.

You’ll learn how to:

  • put together an effective squeeze page to capture customer email addresses
  • create a lead generation list on Shopify
  • generate lead magnets to capture leads with Facebook ads and coupons
  • create winning campaigns that lead to more sales
  • automate your email marketing so you can spend your time on more pressing issues

The module also features Franklin’s “Product Launch Formula” so you can sell a ton of new products off the bat by promoting it to your email list.

Module 6: Chatbot Marketing

This is another relatively new technology which the Ecom Elites training course will teach you how to take advantage of in great detail.

A chatbot is a great tool to automate customer service and provide instant answers to your customers’ questions.

You can also use it to recommend products to customers who are looking for specific needs to be fulfilled.

This module will teach you all the technical steps to build a chatbot to do these things for your ecommerce store.

Once again, this is explained in a way that your grandparent without a smartphone could understand.

You’ll be shown the best tools to create a chatbot, how its commands should work and how to create automated chat sequences, among other things.

Module 7: Sales Funnel Training (Ultimate Edition Only)

Here, you’ll learn how to create an effective sales funnel from scratch. If you have experience running an ecommerce business, you already know this will be a long module. Stick with it though because it could easily increase your sales by multiple times.

Bear in mind that the ‘Ultimate’ package includes a ‘done for you’ funnel that has made seven figures for other people who have used it.

This module also features a couple of extra related topics that aren’t directly related to sales funnels. For example, the Business 101 video addresses the taxes you’ll have to pay as an ecommerce store owner.

There are some great tips on scaling your business with virtual assistants to be found here too.

Module 8: Google Shopping Ads Academy (Ultimate Edition Only)

You might be a master of Facebook ads and Instagram ads by now, but Google Ads requires a whole different skill set.

Google Ads are text-based ads which appear in search engine results pages and various different blogs. They’re pay-per-click ads rather than pay-per-view, so the skill involves targeting interested buyers only. Keeping your cost-per-click low is another skill that’ll increase your profit margins dramatically.

The good news is: Franklin Hatchett has been experimenting with Google ads for long enough to help you out. This module features three hours of advice on using them to generate the highest possible ROI.

It’s not the most detailed overview of Google ads I’ve ever seen, especially when considering that you have to upgrade to the Ultimate tier to access it. Having said that, it remains a useful addition to the course.

Module 9: Organic SEO

There aren’t too many dropshipping courses that’ll teach you how to rank your ecommerce store at the top of search engine results pages, but Ecom Elites has a ton of advice on this as well.

This strategy is more of a slow burn. Much like going to the gym every day, the results of search engine optimization take time to show, but it’ll serve you well in the long run.

Once your Shopify store is ranking well in Google results, you’ll start to gain FREE traffic. This is when your profits can really begin to skyrocket.

So, if you’re in the dropshipping game for the long run, don’t think about skipping this module. Free organic Google traffic is nothing to be sniffed at. It should be a long-term goal to attract paid and free traffic to your online store.

Again, this isn’t the most in-depth guide to SEO I’ve ever seen. It feels a bit as if these are ‘bonus videos’ rather than a core part of the course.

Module 10: Top Secret Videos

This is where I start to get into some of the more advanced strategies, but you should be well prepared by the time you get to this point in the course.

The top secret videos include guides on increasing sales by utilizing coupons, warranties, review websites, Facebook groups and more.

Module 11: Video Requests

Platforms like Shopify, Facebook, Instagram and Google Ads are changing all the time.

This can be a concern for students buying digital courses since there’s every chance the information included is going to be outdated.

Thankfully, Franklin had the foresight to prepare for this eventuality. The final module of this course features videos that were filmed after the initial release of the course. They feature crucial updates based on how certain software has changed.

There are important updates about changes to terms and conditions as well, which you should acknowledge if you don’t want your Facebook or Instagram accounts to be banned.

Not every online guru goes above and beyond like this! Many will sell you the course and leave you to figure things out yourself if the information becomes outdated.

Here, you can even request a video if you discover something along your dropshipping journey that doesn’t make sense. If Franklin thinks it makes sense to cover it, he will do so. And usually pretty quickly too.

This shows that he really cares about his students’ success and not just their money.

Bonuses

Everyone who buys the Ecom Elites course will get access to a private Facebook group, where they can get advice from Franklin and other experienced e-commerce business owners.

They’ll also be able to attend weekly livestreams hosted by Franklin himself. During these videos, there’ll be Q&A sessions where you can ask any questions about building a profitable online business.

On top of that, those who invest in the Ultimate edition of the course will get the following bonuses.

  1. A ‘done for you’ 7-figure sales funnel
  2. An e-book revealing Franklin’s top-selling products
  3. An e-book revealing Frankin’s most successful niches of all time.

Bearing in mind that the sales funnel and Google ads modules are also exclusive to the Ultimate Tier, I’d suggest it’s well worth the extra $100. You should be able to make more than that back with the information included.

Ecom Elites Review: What’s The Conclusion?

After a deep dive into the ins and outs of Ecom Elites, I barely have a bad word to say about it.

Franklin Hatchett is a money-making machine, and his dropshipping course is probably one of the best available in its category.

But before you send him your money, it’s important to question whether you want to get into dropshipping at all.

It was difficult to generate meaningful money in this saturated niche a few years ago, and it’s only gotten tougher since then.

There are better business models for making fast cash in the modern day, and it wouldn’t surprise me if Franklin himself pivots to one of them soon.

I also have reviews for two other dropshipping courses. Dropshipping Launchpad by Nick Dahlberg covers essential business elements, but the saturated market limits its effectiveness despite a decent community and free YouTube training.

Additionally, Justin Woll’s Ecommerce course offers comprehensive sales generation strategies and an option for one-on-one mentoring from the BSF team, making it one of the most in-depth courses in the niche.

Top Alternative / #1 Way To Make Money

I’ve personally tried all of the major online business models:

  • I’ve drop-shipped a toilet bowl putting green on Shopify
  • I’ve drop-shipped jade rollers via Clickfunnels
  • I’ve sold fidget spinners through Amazon FBA
  • I’ve sold women’s health supplements via Clickbank affiliate marketing

And I made money with all of them, so trust me when I say: there is no “perfect” business model.

That being said, my #1 recommendation for making real money online is, hands-down: being the Digital Rental Method.

Whether you’re a complete newbie or you’ve been around the block before but have never had that “big win” to propel you forward, The Digital Rental Method is for you.

Why?

1) Time: You’ll need to master A LOT of skills to succeed at dropshipping. It’s not only about finding products and suppliers. It’s not just about building websites to sell your products and writing copy that makes them sound irresistible. You’re also going to need to find a way to attract traffic to your store, whether that’s through online ads or organic Google traffic.

If you use ads (which most dropshippers do), you’ll spend most of your days monitoring and tweaking your campaigns to ensure you don’t lose money. Plus, you’ll always need to keep your eye out for the “next hot product” before your competitors spot it first. It really is a full-time job.

The Digital Rental Method isn’t like this. If you have an hour or two each day, you can do this. If you want to drop everything and go all in, you can do this. More time obviously means faster results, but even putting in a few hours per day is enough to see real success. And because of that flexibility, you don’t need to trade your time for money. Once the income starts, it’s recurring.

That means you can take a month off, travel the country, pursue a passion project, chill on the beach, or charter a boat across the world. But you can only do that once you’ve created an income stream that doesn’t require YOU to be there all day, every day.

2) Ownership & Control: With dropshipping, you don’t actually own anything. You can’t control your product quality or even what the package looks like when it arrives. You’re doing all the heavy lifting but your success is out of your hands in many ways.

Technically, you own your Shopify site… but ad platforms could shut you down at a moment’s notice. This happens all the time and is a common fear of dropshipping pros, so you don’t really have much control here either.

Yes, it’s possible to make sales at a profit with dropshipping, but why pour your soul into a business that could be taken away from you at the drop of a dime?
With The Digital Rental Method, you literally own all of the assets, which means you have ultimate control.

3) Fulfillment: Franklin Hatchett tends to gloss over the stress of overseas fulfillment. Sure, he mentions some good tips for finding a reliable supplier. He makes sure you’re aware of the benefits of not having any inventory, and that can remove a lot of stress from your shoulders.

But that worry has been replaced with the worries of your customers waiting for their products to arrive from overseas. Typically, your customer is going to have to wait 3-4 weeks to receive their order. Then add in the current global supply chain woes… and you’re looking at 5-6-7 weeks!

Now imagine the customer slaps you with a refund, and all of that time spent testing and spending money on ads was for nothing. You don’t have to worry about any of that when you’re renting out digital properties.

4) It’s Effectively Copy-Paste: Here’s my favorite part: once you have your first Digital Rental Property up, you can literally copy-paste another version of it and find another willing “renter” in a few days. DOUBLING your income doesn’t get much easier than that…

If you wanted to double your income with dropshipping, you would need to sell twice as much inventory or double your profit margins. Franklin Hatchett has some useful tips for scaling your dropshipping business that have been proven to work for his business, but I can guarantee you (from my Shopify dropshipping days) that’s a lot harder than a few clicks and a phone call.

5) Big Margins: Ecom elites dropshipping course puts a lot of focus on scaling your business. Indeed, that’s imperative if you want to make any sort of meaningful profit.

Dropshipping is notorious for slim profit margins, and it’s not exactly risk-free to scale your business and overcome this problem.

This usually entails spending A LOT of money on ads and other methods for growing traffic to your product.

With The Digital Rental Method, your profit margin is nearly 100%. Watch here to learn how.

Just a reminder: these Digital Rental Properties are worth (at a minimum) $500/mo in semi-passive income. And each time you create another one, your income increases and the effort put into creating the next property decreases.

In the best case scenario, you have properties bringing in over $3,000+/mo on auto-pilot.

6) You’re Helping REAL People: My biggest gripe with dropshipping is that you’re usually finding some product that’s complete garbage and tricking people into buying it.

Among the trending products that Franklin recommends are dog paw cleaners, waterproof speakers, solar-powered iPhone chargers and beach tents.

These aren’t exactly life-changing products. They provide minimal value to the customer or to the world in general. And why would anyone want to wait 5-7 weeks to receive them?

You might enjoy making a quick buck from these goofy trends, but in the long term, it gets really old, really fast. This is what happens in any job where there’s no deeper meaning to fulfil you.

But when you’re talking about The Digital Rental Method, you’re helping solve REAL problems that people are ASKING for help with.

Small local businesses around the world need one thing: customers. Without them, their businesses would fall apart. If we can provide those customers, they’ll be really happy—and they’ll pay you for it.

You’re helping a struggling mother or father put FOOD on the table for their families, put their kids through college, or simply live life a little bit more comfortably.

Having this type of impact on the world is what will help you sleep soundly at night.

So, the rest is up to you. You could keep looking at other dropshipping programs like Ecom Elites, which might make you money in 12 months.

You could keep researching and researching for the next few months (or a few years), never making a concrete decision. OR, you can look deep inside, think about those dreams, hopes, & desires, and make the decision to ACTUALLY make it happen, just like it has for thousands of other students before you. Making a fortune while actually helping real people who need it.

“My journey began like many others – the all too familiar corporate treadmill, where success seemed defined by long hours in a skyline office. I did well in school, climbed the corporate ladder, but fulfillment felt elusive.

Eventually, that feeling led me to the world of ecom, where I ran dropshipping, print on demand & FBA hustles that brought some successes – but they also brought many challenges.

It wasn’t until I found the Digital Rental Method that I really found my groove – which still happens to be my #1 recommendation for making money online!”
