TLDR – What’s The Verdict On AC Hampton And His Dropshipping Course?
Dropshipping was the hot online business model when AC Hampton started in 2019. He did a great job of profiting from it.
He followed the winning formula to a tee.
- Set up a Shopify store.
- Find winning products at cheap prices.
- Promote them using social media ads.
I made a bit of money doing this back in the day, but I wouldn’t recommend it anymore.
Nowadays, there’s too much competition in dropshipping. Unless you continuously find the next hot product, you’ll have to compete with an army of sellers trying to flog the same cheap items as you.
That’s tough, especially since dropshipping margins have always been so low. Sure, you can sell a $2 fidget spinner for $10. Maybe you’ll sell 100 and boast about your “$1,000 day” on social media.
But how much of that $1,000 would you have spent on online ads, supplier fees and associated costs?
The answer is: most of it. The average profit margin for dropshipping sales is around 15-20%.
Plus, these so-called “$1,000 days” are much harder to come by in today’s oversaturated dropshipping market.
If you’re looking to make fast money online in the modern day, there are easier business models out there.
In recent years, I’ve been enjoying bigger profits with local lead generation.
This involves creating digital assets that generate leads for local businesses. These assets can often attract $10,000s worth of fresh leads every month (depending on the niche).
In most cases, you’ll have no trouble renting them out for $500 – $2,000 every month.
Once you’ve created your first asset, it becomes simple to create your next one and find your next willing renter.
Plus, there’s no danger of saturation since you’re dealing in local markets. You can target any of 50+ local business niches in 500,000+ local cities. That’s just in The United States alone.

Who Benefits From AC Hampton’s Courses & Who Doesn’t?
AC Hampton markets his course to beginners and experts who want to make more money from their Shopify dropshipping store.
The course might be suitable for you if:
- you’re convinced that dropshipping is still the best online business model.
- you’re happy to only drive traffic using Facebook ads.
- you’re excited to receive personal feedback from AC Hampton and his team.
However, if you don’t fit into all three of these camps, it’s difficult for me to recommend this course.
For starters, there are dropshipping courses out there that’ll teach you more than one method of driving traffic. There are also online business models that’ll make passive income without having to invest most of it back into online ads. (Here’s my #1 recommendation)

Dropshipping is a form of e-commerce where you don’t hold any inventory.
Instead, you buy the products from cheap third-party wholesale suppliers who fulfil your customer’s orders for you.
Essentially, you’re the middleman who connects customers with suppliers using an online store.
Your profits arrive when you add a huge mark-up to buy from your store.
The toughest challenge for dropshipping business owners is driving traffic. Most choose to do it with online ads.
The skill then becomes ensuring you make more money dropshipping products than you spend on ads. A big part of AC Hampton’s courses involves teaching you how to create high-converting video ads on Facebook.
It’s not an easy skill to master, and it’s expensive to get wrong. That’s why the pros can charge so much to teach you.

Who Is AC Hampton?
AC Hampton (or Alex Hampton) graduated from the University of Missouri with a degree in business administration, but it didn’t take him long to realize the 9-5 life wouldn’t be for him.
As his college roommate had already been making money from dropshipping, AC took an interest too.
His first dropshipping business flopped terribly, but he learned from his mistakes and made a killing the second time around.
Now, with his YouTube channel and online course, he’s teaching thousands of people how to do the same.
AC Hampton Net Worth
I couldn’t find any accurate estimates of AC Hampton’s net worth.
It’s even difficult to calculate a ballpark AC Hampton Net Worth figure from the clues he’s left online.
For example, he told Voyage LA that he grossed $2 million in revenue in his first year of dropshipping.
But that’s the problem with online dropshipping gurus. They only like to reveal their revenue! They rarely ever talk about how much they had to spend on ads to generate that figure. It’s well known that dropshipping profit margins are often slim at best. The industry average is around 15-20%, according to Printify.
With that said, AC has sold at least 3,000 editions of Supreme Ecom Blueprint. So, we can assume he’s a millionaire at the very least.
How Much Does Supreme Ecom Blueprint Cost?
The Supreme Ecom Blueprint course will cost you $597. You can pay by any type of debit card or credit card, or via Google Pay. There are no payment plans available.
This a fairly normal price range for dropshipping courses offering this level of training. I’ve seen some courses available for more and others for less.
There are no hidden costs or upsells here. Just make sure you have enough left over to cover the cost of setting up your online store and running ads on Meta or Google.
What Is The Supreme Ecom Blueprint Refund Policy?
The terms and conditions make it clear that no refunds are available on the Supreme Ecom Blueprint course. The terms state this is because the company wants to encourage you to give the course a fair attempt.
That’s disappointing especially when you consider that some of AC Hampton’s more experienced competitors offer 30-day satisfaction guarantees. Offers offer students the chance to get their money back if they can prove they tried and failed to make money with their methods.
AC is well within his rights to not offer refunds, but I always interpret this a vote of no confidence in your course or your students.
My Personal Opinion On AC Hampton
AC Hampton is a likeable and charismatic entrepreneur. What’s more, he’s honest about the struggles of dropshipping and tells students they’ll have to work hard to succeed.
In an interview with Voyage LA, he admits that
- he was struggling to make ends meet in the early going
- his first Facebook ad account was banned
- his ads are often blocked by Meta
His course is well put together and features strategies that have been proven to generate dropshipping profits.
Will all his students make as much money as him? That’s a different question entirely…
Should I Worry About An AC Hampton Scam?
There are plenty of people writing about a supposed AC Hampton scam on social media, but there’s not much meat to these accusations.
It’s mostly people saying they bought the course and weren’t able to succeed with dropshipping.
And this doesn’t surprise me at all.
It’s not that AC Hampton is a bad coach. It’s just harder to succeed in dropshipping than ever.
Most dropshippers have to become experts at creating online ads. They’re typically spending every day creating ads, testing ads, tweaking ads. This is crucial to creating successful online marketing campaigns. Without this process, you risk flushing all your earnings down the drain.
Even as a Facebook or Google ads expert, you’re still not guaranteed to make a killing these days either. Not when you’re competing against so many other dropshipping businesses trying to flog the same products.
When a market becomes over-saturated, the cost of ads rises and so does the level of your competition.
That’s why I haven’t seen very many dropshipping millionaires emerge in recent years…
On top of that, Meta has become even stricter on e-commerce advertisers. So, your chances of being banned from the platform are higher than ever.
This is why I prefer to recommend local lead generation as the best method for making passive income online.
There are fewer skills to learn. There’s less competition. And you only need a few clients to start living the good life.
Right now, I have a handful of clients paying me $500 – $2,000 every month.
I don’t have to obsess over finding the next hot product or burying my head in the ads manager on my Facebook Page.

It’s not just the dropshipping market that’s oversaturated. The market for dropshipping coaches is as well!
AC Hampton is as qualified as anyone to coach, although he only chooses to teach you how to drive traffic with Facebook ads.
Other coaches have courses that’ll teach you Google Shopping ads, YouTube ads, TikTok ads and more.
I also have reviews for two other dropshipping courses. The Ecom Good Life by Mikey Kass is a budget-friendly option with a focus on market research and winning products, though it has received criticism for exaggerated income claims and limited free traffic methods.
Additionally, the Dropshipping Launchpad by Nick Dahlberg covers key business elements and offers free training on YouTube, but the oversaturated dropshipping market and questionable value of his coaches’ expertise limit its recommendation.

I’ve personally tried all of the major online business models:

- I’ve sold women’s health supplements via Clickbank affiliate marketing
And I made money with all of them, so trust me when I say: there is no “perfect” business model.
That being said, my #1 recommendation for making real money online is, hands-down: The Digital Rental Method.
Whether you’re a complete newbie, or you’ve been around the block before but have never had that “big win” to propel you forward, the Digital Rental Method is for you.
Why?
1)Time:
Dropshipping is often marketed as a simple route to “passive income”, but that’s far from the case.
Expert dropshippers are spending most days researching products, testing ads and tweaking their existing ad campaigns.
If you’re hoping for a full-time income, you’ll need to treat it like a full-time job.
The Digital Rental Method doesn’t work that way.

Technically you own your Shopify site… but ad platforms could shut you down on a moment’s notice…just like they did with AC Hampton…so you don’t really have much control there.
This leads to the obvious question: Why pour your soul into a business that could be taken away from you at the drop of a dime?
With the Digital Rental Method, you literally own all of the assets, which means you have ultimate control.
3) Fulfillment:
You don’t have to hold any inventory with dropshipping, and that’s a weight off your shoulders.
However, that weight is replaced with the stress of dealing with overseas fulfillment.
Typically, your customer is going to have to wait 3-4 weeks to receive their order.
Then add in the current global supply chain woes… and you’re looking at 5-6-7 weeks!
Then the customer slaps you with a refund, and all of that time spent testing and spending money on ads was for nothing.
You don’t have to worry about any of that when you’re renting out digital properties.
4) It’s Effectively Copy-Paste:
Here’s my favorite part: once you have your first Digital Rental Property up, you can literally copy-paste another version of it and find another willing “renter” in a few days. DOUBLING your income doesn’t get much easier than that…
If you wanted to double your income with dropshipping, you would need to sell twice as much inventory, or double your profit margins. AC Hampton’s students will learn how to do this in his module on ‘scaling’, where he’ll teach you how to identify winning videos ads and upping your spend on those.
But I can guarantee you (from my Shopify dropshipping days), that’s a lot harder than a few clicks & a phone call.
5) Big Margins: With dropshipping, you’re often going to have really slim margins. That means you need to hit a serious scale to make serious money. This usually entails spending A LOT of money on ads and other methods for growing traffic to your product.

Here’s a hot take that most dropshipping gurus won’t admit. This business model is essentially about tricking people into buying a garbage product that they don’t need.
It’s cool in the short term to make a quick buck, but in the long-term, it gets really old, really fast.
But when you’re talking about the Digital Rental Method, you’re helping solve REAL problems that people are ASKING for help with.
Small local businesses around the world need one thing: customers. Without them, their business would fall apart. If you can provide those customers, they’re going to be really happy – and they’re going to pay you for it.
You’re helping a struggling mother or father put FOOD on the table for their families, put their kids through college, or simply live life a little bit more comfortably.
Having this type of impact on the world is what will help you sleep soundly at night.
So, the rest is up to you. You could keep looking at other dropshipping programs like those offered by AC Hampton, which might make you money 12 months from now.
You could keep researching and researching for the next few months (or few years), never making a concrete decision.
OR, you can look deep inside, think about those dreams, hopes, & desires, and make the decision to ACTUALLY make it happen, just like it has for thousands of other students before you.
